REFUND POLICY

Towers Method Academy
Operated by MCM GRUP DOOEL uvoz-izvoz Skopje, North Macedonia
Last updated: 2026
© 2025 MCM GRUP DOOEL uvoz-izvoz Skopje. All rights reserved.

This Refund Policy applies to all digital courses, learning materials, videos, audio materials, exercises, worksheets, quizzes, assessments, and other digital educational content sold by MCM GRUP DOOEL uvoz-izvoz Skopje, operating through Towers Method Academy.

By purchasing any of our digital products or courses, you agree to this Refund Policy.

1. Nature of Our Digital Products

Our products are digital educational products. They may include, but are not limited to:
• online self-paced courses

• video lessons

• written explanations

• practice exercises

• quizzes and assessments

• viewable learning materials

• audio files

• pronunciation materials

• glossaries

• worksheets

• course slides and visual learning materials

• other protected digital content delivered through our learning platform

Because our products are digital and access is usually granted immediately after purchase, they cannot be physically returned in the same way as physical goods.

Once a digital course or learning material has been accessed, viewed, opened, downloaded, used, or otherwise made available to the learner, the content is considered delivered and consumed.

2. Immediate Access and Loss of Withdrawal Right

Our digital courses and materials may be made available to you immediately after payment confirmation.

Before completing your purchase, we will ask for your prior express consent for delivery of digital content to begin immediately, and your acknowledgement that you will thereby lose your 14-day right of withdrawal under applicable law. If you do not provide this express separate consent, the purchase cannot take place.

For customers in the EU and the Republic of North Macedonia, in accordance with the applicable law, you have a 14-day withdrawal right from the date of conclusion of the contract. This right is lost for digital content not supplied on a durable medium if: (1) you have provided prior express consent to begin the performance during the right of withdrawal period; (2) you have provided acknowledgement that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal; and (3) we have provided you with confirmation of your consent and acknowledgement.

This means you will be required to check a box at checkout confirming that you understand and agree to waive your right to a refund in exchange for immediate access. Confirmation of this agreement will be sent to you via email along with your purchase receipt.

3. General No-Refund Rule for Digital Products

Due to the non-tangible, immediately accessible, and irrevocable nature of digital educational products, all sales are generally final and non-refundable once access has been granted or the course content has been accessed, viewed, opened, downloaded, or used.

Refunds are not available simply because:

• you changed your mind after purchase

• you no longer want or need the course

• you purchased the course by mistake

• you did not read the course description carefully before buying

• the course did not meet your personal expectations after access was granted

• you did not complete the course

• you did not use the course after purchasing it

• you do not have the time to study

• you expected a different teaching style

• you expected live lessons, personal tutoring, or individual feedback when these were not included in the product description

• you do not have the required device, browser, internet connection, software, or technical ability to use the course

• you experience local technical issues caused by your own device, browser settings, internet connection, software, extensions, or third-party restrictions

• you accessed or used the course and later decided that you do not want to pay for it

Please read the course description, product details, technical requirements, refund terms, and access information carefully before purchasing.

4. Course Access and Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility depends on whether the digital course content has been accessed.

4.1 Before Course Access

A refund may be considered only if:

• you request the refund within 14 days of purchase; and

• you have not accessed, viewed, opened, downloaded, used, or started the course or any protected course material; and

• course access has not been substantially delivered to you; and

• the request is not related to a non-refundable item listed in this policy.

Submitting a refund request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.

4.2 After Course Access

Once you have accessed, viewed, opened, downloaded, used, or started any course content, the purchase becomes non-refundable, except in the limited circumstances described in Section 6 below

This includes access to:

• the course player

• video lessons

• written lessons

• exercises

• quizzes

• audio materials

• glossaries

• worksheets

• slides

• protected instructional content

• any other digital course material

Once accessed, the course is considered consumed, and cancellations will not be accepted.

5. Technical Issues

5.1 Reporting a Technical Issue

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing or viewing the digital course content, you must notify our support team immediately at info@towersmethodacademy.com. You must report the issue within 3 days of its first occurrence.

5.2 Mandatory Proof of Error

To process a technical claim, you must provide clear evidence of the issue. We will not review refund requests for technical errors unless you provide:

• A clear screenshot or screen recording showing the exact error message or malfunction.

• The name and version of the internet browser and device you are using (e.g., Chrome on a MacBook, Safari on an iPhone).

• Proof that your internet connection was stable at the time of the error.

5.3 Right to Cure

In accordance with EU law, we have the right to investigate and fix any reported technical issue.

We will make reasonable efforts to help resolve genuine access issues. This may include:

• re-sending access instructions

• checking whether your account has been properly enrolled

• helping you access the course platform

• suggesting browser or device troubleshooting steps

• advising you to clear your browser cache

• advising you to try another browser or private/incognito mode

• advising you to disable browser extensions that may interfere with access

• checking whether there was an enrollment, login, or payment-processing issue

5.4 Technical Requirements

The learner is solely responsible for ensuring that their device, internet connection, browser, and software settings are suitable for accessing online digital course content.

The minimum technical requirements for accessing the Services are as follows:

1.
Supported browsers: The latest available versions of modern browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge. Learners are advised to update their browser regularly for optimal performance.

2.
Required software: No specialized software is required to access the online course platform. All video and interactive content is accessible through a supported web browser. Where downloadable documents or PDF materials are included, a PDF reader or other software capable of opening PDF files is required.

3.
Devices: The Services can be accessed on desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.

4.
Internet connection: A stable broadband internet connection is required. For streaming video and using interactive course materials, an internet speed of at least 5 Mbps is recommended.

5.
Browser and device settings: Learners are responsible for ensuring that their device and browser settings allow the Website and learning platform to function properly. This may include allowing strictly necessary cookies, permitting video and audio playback, and ensuring that browser extensions, ad blockers, firewall settings, security software, or local network restrictions do not interfere with access to the Services.

Access and performance may vary depending on the learner’s device, browser, operating system, internet connection, software settings, and third-party platform availability.

Technical problems do not automatically qualify a learner for a refund.

Refunds will not be granted where the access issue is caused by:

• an outdated browser

• an unsupported device

• insufficient or unstable internet connection

• local network restrictions

• browser extensions, ad blockers, or add-ons

• firewall or security software restrictions

• blocking cookies or technical functions required for login, security, payment processing, course access, or platform functionality;

• failure to follow access instructions

• lack of required software, tools, or technical ability

• device limitations

• third-party platform issues outside our reasonable control, where access can still be restored or an alternative solution can be provided

6. Limited Circumstances Where Refunds May Be Considered

Although all digital product sales are generally final once access has been granted, we may consider a refund in the following limited cases:

6.1 Duplicate Payment

You were charged more than once for the same course or order due to a technical or payment-processing error.

6.2 Incorrect Billing

You were charged an incorrect amount due to a verified billing error.

6.3 Technical Enrollment Error

A technical error prevented your enrollment or access, and we are unable to provide access or a reasonable alternative solution.

6.4 Material Technical Defect We Cannot Fix

The course or digital product is materially defective, significantly corrupted, or technically unusable, and our support team is unable to fix the issue or provide a reasonable alternative.

6.5 Unauthorized Payment

The payment was made without your authorization, and this is verified by your bank, card issuer, payment processor, or other relevant provider.

6.6 Legal Exceptions to the No-Refund Policy

In accordance with EU Directive 2019/770, the finality of sale policy does not affect your statutory rights if the digital content is faulty, incorrectly described, or fails to be delivered. In such cases, we will first attempt to fix the issue. If the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe, you may be entitled to a partial or full refund.

Any refund outside these circumstances is granted solely at our discretion and does not create an obligation to provide the same or similar refunds in the future.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable unless required by law:

• accessed digital courses

• viewed course lessons

• downloaded materials

• opened or used worksheets, files, slides, exercises, or audio materials

• completed or partially completed lessons

• registration fees

• administrative fees

• payment-processing fees

• transaction charges

• applicable taxes

• promotional, discounted, bundled, or special-offer purchases

• subscription periods during which the learner accessed or used course content

• purchases where the learner failed to meet the stated technical requirements

8. Withdrawal Request Procedure

If you wish to submit a withdrawal request, you may use our Withdrawal Request Form (https://towersmethodacademy.com/withdrawal-request-form).

Submitting a withdrawal request does not automatically approve a withdrawal or refund. We will review your request, including whether access to the digital course has already begun and whether the course has been accessed or used, before confirming whether a withdrawal and refund can be approved.

After reviewing your request, we will contact you by email.

9. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund review, you must contact us at:

info@towersmethodacademy.com

Your request must include:

• your full name

• the email address used for purchase

• the course name

• order number, invoice number, or transaction ID

• date of purchase

• proof of payment, if requested

• a clear explanation of the issue

• screenshots or screen recording of error messages, if the issue is technical

• device, browser, and software information, if the issue is technical

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase.

We may request additional information to verify the issue. Failure to provide sufficient information may result in the refund request being denied.

10. Review and Processing Time

We will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

If a refund is approved:

• the refund will be processed using the same payment method you used for the original purchase, without any additional charges to you, unless you have explicitly agreed to a different method; we may not refuse or withhold such refund

• processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, bank, or card issuer

• refunds may take approximately 14 calendar days to appear on your statement after processing; bank processing times may add to this

• access to the refunded course or digital product will be removed

• your license to use the refunded materials will end immediately

We are not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, payment processors, or third-party providers.

11. Effect of Refunds on Course Access and License

If a refund is approved, your access to the relevant course, digital product, and related materials will be deactivated.

Any license or right to use the course materials will automatically terminate.

You must immediately stop using all refunded course materials and delete or destroy any copies in your possession, including downloaded files, screenshots, notes copied from the course, recordings, extracts, or other reproductions.

Refunded materials may not be copied, shared, taught from, reused, resold, adapted, redistributed, or used for personal, educational, teaching, commercial, or training purposes.

12. Alternative Solutions

Before approving a refund, or instead of a refund, we may offer a reasonable alternative solution, such as:

• technical support

• restored access

• replacement access links

• account correction

• access through an alternative method

• exchange for another course of equal value

• account credit for future purchases

• supplementary support materials

• extended access, where appropriate

The availability of alternative solutions is determined at our discretion.

13. Subscriptions, Bundles, and Promotions

If we offer subscriptions, bundles, memberships, promotional packages, discounted products, or special offers, the following rules apply:

• cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund previous payments

• refunds are not available for any subscription period during which course content was accessed or used

• discounted, promotional, bundled, or special-offer purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been granted

• partial refunds for bundles are not guaranteed and may be refused where any part of the bundle has been accessed

Specific subscription or bundle terms may be stated separately at checkout or in the relevant product description.

14. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback, payment dispute, reversal, or similar claim with your bank, card issuer, or payment provider, we may suspend or terminate your access to the course, account, and related services while the dispute is investigated.

If the chargeback or dispute is resolved in your favor, your access and license to the relevant course materials will be considered cancelled, and you must immediately stop using all materials obtained under the disputed payment.

If the dispute is resolved in our favor, your access may be reinstated at our discretion.

We reserve the right to challenge chargebacks where course access was granted, course content was accessed, or the refund request is inconsistent with this policy.

15. Third-Party Payment Processors

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers, merchant-of-record platforms, or checkout providers.

Refund processing times, payment reversals, currency conversions, fees, and payment-method restrictions may depend on the relevant third-party payment provider, bank, card issuer, or financial institution.

Where a third-party payment provider has its own refund, dispute, chargeback, or buyer-protection rules, those rules may also apply.

We are not responsible for delays, fees, exchange-rate differences, or processing restrictions caused by third-party providers.

16. Quality Commitment

We are committed to providing high-quality educational content. Our courses are designed with care and may include professionally prepared explanations, visual materials, structured lessons, practice activities, and supporting resources.

While refunds are limited because of the digital nature of our products, we aim to support learners by providing:

• accurate course descriptions

• structured learning materials

• access support where reasonably possible

• correction of verified technical issues

• fair review of legitimate concerns

• continuous improvement of our courses based on user feedback

A refund will not be granted simply because a learner disagrees with the teaching method, expected a different type of course, did not achieve a desired personal result, or did not use the course fully after purchase.

17. No Guaranteed Results

Our courses are educational products designed to support language learning. However, results vary depending on many factors, including the learner’s starting level, effort, consistency, practice, attention, learning habits, and completion of the course.

We do not guarantee any specific exam score, language level, learning outcome, personal result, professional result, or academic result.

Failure to achieve a desired result does not qualify the learner for a refund.

18. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices, legal requirements, payment providers, platform requirements, or customer support procedures.

The updated version will be posted on our website with a revised “Last updated” date.

We will also notify you of any material changes to this Refund Policy before they take effect.
